It’s obvious that not only is digital media the way of the future, but it is quickly becoming the way of the present – especially for traditional publishing companies. While print edition newspapers certainly have their place for subscribers, an embrace of this new direction of media must occur for publishers to maintain an edge in the shifting competitive landscape. This is something that The Free Lance-Star understood as they collaborated with Deedod to create a tablet edition for freelancestar.com.

32 teams were whittled down to two. Those two cities on opposite sides of the country clashed to see who would rise as NFL Champion. Two coaches, brothers from the same womb, stood toe-to-toe in an epic showdown that would force their parents to finally choose their favorite son. So obviously with such an event unfolding in front of the eyes of all Americans, the spectacle had to be showcased in an unfathomable way – a way that only Deedod could produce.

There have been so many beautiful moments in sports, with countless including the most iconic "sports drink" ever – Gatorade. Numerous times athletes grab their favorite fluid replenisher for a mid-game recharge, a post-game wind down, or a substance to drench an unsuspecting coach. Yes, it’s always good to reach for Gatorade. However, in early January, the tables turned, this time it was Gatorade reaching out for something – and Deedod (along with collaborating agency Kaicon and Creative Director Marshall Bex and Art Director Lloyd Bagtas) was there to deliver.

Local Fredericksburg company, and finalist for the RichTech Technology Innovation Developer of the Year, has finally got a place of its own. Company partners, David Cook and Matt Armstrong, moved out of their “office” located in a spare room in Cook’s Ferry Farm home, and have landed a New York style loft in the newly expanded Bowman Center. 

Local start-up company Deedod, continues to make a name for itself in Fredericksburg. The company was awarded the Business Incentive Grant (BIG Program) by the Economic Development Authority (EDA) of Spotsylvania County.

Most partnerships have a rough patch in order to legitimize a company. Sometimes the first “big deal” never comes and the company folds as quickly as it tried to begin. For Deedod, and partners Matt Armstrong and David Cook, winning the bid to collaborate on a project creating m.NFL.com eased any thoughts of closing the doors before it flew off the ground.

Close your eyes and think of a geek. Got it? Is it someone in high school who was in love with you but didn’t have a chance? Is it someone with braces and taped glasses who was always more interested in videogames and computers than social events? Is it someone whom corrects your grammar with their nose in comic book? Whomever comes to mind when the word “Geek” is said just know that, according to FredTech, David Cook is the biggest one of them all.

Deeod’s latest project has propelled them to center stage. With their recent successful solution of m.NFL.com. The local Fredericksburg company is once again being recognized for their innovative work. Deedod was a finalist for the RichTech’s 2012 Technology Innovation Developer of the Year Award.

Like a leaky faucet at the plumber's home or a squeaky belt in the mechanic's daily driver, Deedod's incomplete website had been sitting in waiting for several month's. But on the bright side, we've been focused on serving our clients' objectives, which is our top priority. After pulling too many all-nighters over the past couple of months to count, Deedod's new website is launched!

After returning in November from a tour in Afghanistan, where he served as a JAG officer in support of Operation Enduring Freedom, Adam Cook (Major, USAFR) announced on January 9th that he is running for Congress in Virginia’s 1st Congressional District. In less than 2 weeks, Deedod designed, developed, and launched the Cook for Congress 2012 Campaign website.
