USC Launches New Dornsife Site Design Back to News

  • USC Launches New Dornsife Site Design

Universities from around the world are funded in large part thanks to the generous donations of alumni and philanthropists alike. The University of Southern California is no different. So when USC alumni Dana and David Dornsife announced that they were going to be giving $200 million to USC, the university wanted to find a way to say thank you.

Being one of the largest single educational donations in US history, USC wanted to forever remember their extremely generous donation. They decided to do so by renaming the USC College of Letters, Arts, & Sciences to The USC Dana and David Dornsife College of Letters, Arts and Sciences, in their honor. As a part of this process, Deedod worked closely with USC to produce an entirely re-branded USC College website to coincide with the name change.

Since USC wanted to keep this incredible news a close secret until officially announced, we were only let in on the news a very short period of time before the announcement. We worked closely with USC to apply an entirely new re-skinned branding to the entire USC College website consisting of several thousand pages. It was no easy feat but the Deedod team was super excited to be a part of the historic announcement.

In the end, the new USC Dornsife branded site was delivered with time to spare before the announcement. The new site design was released just after the announcement and now the USC College will forever be associated with the extremely generous actions of Dana and David Dornsife. Their donation will help to educate thousands upon thousands of students in the decades to come, and at Deedod, we could not have been happier to be a part of such a wonderful action.
