With some 50 million unique monthly visitors, MySpace is a pioneer in the social networking landscape.  When Deedod was asked to partner with MySpace to re-develop the core areas of the MySpace mobile site, the challenge was humbly accepted. Deedod, being eager and excited to implement the designs that MySapce had put together, dove in headfirst.

The new site featured HTML5/CSS3 technologies and also included functionality for swipe hand gestures in order to integrate slideshow/article swiping user interactions.

Additionally, in an experimental fashion, Deedod developed a page advertising experience that featured flipping tiles which covered the entire page and exposed a full page ad for user to view/click. The tile animations used CSS transitions to take advantage of native iPhone/Android hardware acceleration.  

In the end the site was released with great success that included increased traffic metrics to the MySpace mobile site.
